I Still Believe that I'll See Him Again

I've always believed in①believe in 信仰；信任heaven. But it was so hard to lean on that understanding after my father passed away. I was a Daddy's girl. His death was an emotional②emotional 英 [ɪ'məʊʃ(ə)n(ə)l] 美 [ɪ'moʃənl] adj. 情绪的；易激动的；感动人的earthquake. I could close my eyes and imagine he was somewhere else. But for the first time in my life, I couldn't pinpoint③pinpoint 英 ['pɪnpɒɪnt] 美 ['pɪnpɔɪnt] vt. 查明；精确地找到；准确描述his location on a map. And even though I'd taken an astronomy④astronomy 英 [ə'strɒnəmɪ] 美 [ə'strɑnəmi] n. 天文学class in college, I couldn't find him with a telescope⑤telescope 英 ['telɪskəʊp] 美 ['tɛlɪskop] n. 望远镜；缩叠式旅行袋. His absence⑥absence 英 ['æbs(ə)ns] 美 ['æbsns] n. 没有；缺乏；缺席was so much more real than I thought it would be. And it really shook my beliefs⑦belief 英 [bɪ'liːf] 美 [bɪ'lif] n. 相信，信赖；信仰；教义. I had to form a deeper understanding of what exactly "heaven" means. And I'm still working on that. But I do still talk to him everyday. And I still believe that I'll see him again.
