As在初中英语中的几种用法

摘 要：As是英语中一个比较常见、用法繁多的词。它具有四种不同的词性：副词、关系代词，连词，介词。As可以引导定语从句，状语从句.也可以和它的宾语构成介词短语，引出宾语补足语，主语补足语等.As与其它词的搭配能力也很强，是英语中比较难掌握的一个常用词。本文对as的几种常见用法进行了归纳总结。

As作为一个多意多词性的单词在初中课本出现的频率较高，很多同学对它的用法模糊不清，现将这个看似简单用法多变的as归纳如下：

A. adv.

1.相同、 相似

Mary runs fast， but I run just as fast.

玛丽跑得快，但我也跑得快

2.比如

All kinds of animals， such as birds， cats and gods.

各种动物，例如鸟、猫和狗。

3.被看作、被认为是（常用在形容词和分词之前）

man as described by scientist科学家所描述的人类

man as different from the other animals有别于其他动物的人类

B. 同样、像  conj.

1. as....as......中间用形容词和副词原型

She runs as fast as me.她和我跑得一样的快

not so...as= not as...as

She isnt as pretty as her sister.  她没有她姐姐漂亮。

2.uch ......as....

Such animals as dogs and pigs. 诸如猪狗类的动物。

3.so....as与so...that的区别

Here is so a heavy a box as no man can lift.（同义句）

Here is so a heavy a box that no man can lift.这儿的如此重的一个箱子，没有人能搬动它。

4.such.....as  与 such......that......的区别

Here is such a heavy a box as no man can lift.（同义句）

Here is such a heavy a box that no man can lift.这儿的如此重的一个箱子，没有人能搬动它。

以上四个句子意思相同，用as则不用it;用that便要用it，因为as为关系代词，that为连接词。

5.so as to=in order to  为了  以免

He did it so as not to （=in order not to） be caught.他那样做为了以免处罚。

注意 so as to 不能用于句首

6.照......的方式

Do as I say.   照我所说的去做

7.当......的时候

She dropped the glass as she stood up. 当她站起来时，她把玻璃杯子摔坏了。

8.因为（不能与so连用）

She stayed at home as she has no car.她因为没有车只能留在家里。

9.虽然、即使（可用作倒装句）

Kid as he is， he knows a lot. 虽然年幼但懂的东西不少。

1.（表示关系或者比例）就如、如同

2.is to 4 as 8 is to 16 二比四就好像八比十六

C. pron.

1.如、照（某种事物或者情况）

As you know ， we are poor. 你知道，我们很穷

2.就如   那个样子或者情况，用在go之前

He is quite good， as boys go.就男孩子而言，他可以说相当不错的了

3.也是、同样（多用于倒装句）

Tired as he is， he offers to help me.

尽管他已经很累了，他还是主动提出帮助我。

D. prep.像

1. the  same..... as  與 ......  一样

THis is the same as it was before.这个跟以前一样

2. He works as a farmer.他务农

look on....as  把.......视作

treat....as把.......视作

think of.....as把.......视作

consider....as把.......视作

take .....as....把.......视作

Dont treat the boy as a man.别把男孩当大人看
