（一）on，in，at修饰地点

1． in表示在物体内部，一般指大地方。

如：in a room, in the bag, in my pencil-box，in Beijing

2． on表示在物体表面上。

如：on the table, on the desk, on the pencil-box

3． at表示在物体附近或角落处，一般指小地方。

如：at the table, at home, at the room 101

[注意] 平时要特别留意记忆on和in的习惯用法，不妨比较一番：

on the tree在树上（一般指长在树上的东西）

in the tree在树上（一般指爬到或飘到树上的人、动物或其他物品等）

on the wall在墙上（指在墙表面的黑板、钟和图画等）

in the wall在墙上（指在墙里面的门窗、洞、钉子等）

in the car在小汽车里

on the bus/train在公交车/火车上

（二）on，in，at修饰时间

1．in表示在一段时间后或在某年，某季，某月，某周。

如：in a week, in March, in the evening, in three days, in 2006

2．on表示在固定的某一天，或专指某天的上、下午。

如：on Monday, on 1st April, on Friday morning

3．at表示在某一具体时刻或用在固定短语中。

如：at two oclock, at Christmas
