在文艺天空中自信驰骋

在思潮纷繁的历史时空，中华民族如何认清自己是谁？在风云变幻的当今世界，中国如何不忘本来、吸收外来、面向未来？在走向复兴的历史进程中，有担当的文艺工作者如何在自己的作品里熔铸民族魂魄、彰显中国精神？2016年11月30日至12月3日，中国文联第十次全国代表大会、中国作协第九次全国代表大会在京隆重召开，1500余名文艺工作者正在用自己丰收的创作给出答案。

“希望大家坚定文化自信，用文艺振奋民族精神。”“文化自信，是更基础、更广泛、更深厚的自信，是更基本、更深沉、更持久的力量。坚定文化自信，是事关国运兴衰、事关文化安全、事关民族精神独立性的大问题。”习近平总书记在中国文联十大、中国作协九大开幕式上的重要讲话中，再一次深刻阐述了文化自信对国家、对民族的重大意义，对坚定文化自信提出了殷切的期望，在广大文艺工作者中引发热烈的反响和强烈的共鸣。

港澳台艺术家对文化走出去的不断探索，海峡两岸艺术论坛上文艺人共论舞台艺术与中华文化形象的互动关联，中国文联文艺人才奔赴韩国向影视舞台编导同行“取经”，乌镇戏剧节上中国戏剧人在国际舞台上“眺望”的中国戏剧形象，乃至摄影家、雕塑家、戏剧家的艺术实践与人生故事，都在“善用国际元素，妙释中国故事”的通途中，以对外交流展现中国文艺人的文化自信——把中国文化通过文化交流，带入到世界各地；让中国通过文化交流展示文化自信，让世界了解中国文化的魅力。诸多文艺创作和文艺成果正以充满文化自信的姿态立于世界舞台，用国际化的艺术语汇讲述当下中国之精彩。

“判断一个国家、一个民族是否具有创造力和活力,要看它的科技与艺术。对于以文化古老著称的中国更是如此。”作曲家谭盾曾这样说。当越来越多的中国艺术家自信满满地在文艺天空中驰骋创意和梦想，世界将对中国的未来更加瞩目。

Within the context of historical time and space swelled which tides of thought, how can the Chinese nation find its identity? In face of the current world of constant change, how can China head for a better future while absorbing foreign essence and holding on to its on the traditional basis? In the historical process towards rejuvenation, how can those responsible literary and art workers integrate the national vitality into their works so as to highlight the Chinese spirits? In November 2016, the 10thNational Congress of CFLAC and the 9thof CWA witnessed its solemn opening in Beijing and thousands of literary and art workers present their varied answers with abundant creations.

“You are expected to keep firm cultural self-confidence and inspire the national spirits with literature and arts.” “Cultural self-confidence is a confidence of more fundamental, extensive and profound features as well as an essential, reserved yet everlasting strength. Keeping firm cultural selfconfidence is a key issue for national destiny, cultural security and spiritual independence of Chinese nation.” President Xi Jinping’s keynote speech at the opening ceremony of this National Congress has provided another indepth elaboration on the significance of firm cultural self-confidence for China and Chinese people, and put forward sincere expectation for keeping cultural self-confidence which has aroused passionate feedback and resonance among mass literary and art workers.

Artists from Hong Kong and Macao persist in constant exploration on how to promote Chinese culture ; literary and art experts conduct joint discussion on the interaction between performing arts and Chinese cultural image; Chinese literary and art talents visit Korea for drawing references from their counterparts in film, TV and stage choreography; Chinese theatre artists present the image of ‘Gaze Beyond” in the international arena of Wuzhen Theatre Festival.

All those art practice and life stories of photographers, sculptors and dramatists are on the passage of “interpreting Chinese stories with good use of international elements” so as to demonstrate the cultural self-confidence through external exchange. Through exchange, Chinese culture is introduced all over the world, and through exchange, China is highlighted with its cultural self-confidence and the world comes to appreciate the charm of Chinese culture. Full of cultural self-confidence, Chinese writers and artists dedicate so much literary and art creations to the global stage and, in the universal language of arts, tell about China’s excellence.

“To judge whether a country or a nation is blessed with creativity and vitality, you must take a look at its science and arts, especially for China—an ancient civilization.” Composer Tan Dun once said. When more and more confident Chinese artists develop their creativity and dreams in the realm of literature and arts, the world will fix its sights into the future of China.
