高职英语职场化教学模式改革研究

到目前为止,高职英语作为高等职业教育的一门基础课,仍受传统教学模式的影响,教学内容的职业特色不够明显,与当今高等职业教育的需求尚有差距,故高职英语教学模式向职场化转变势在必行.高职院校应以职业岗位为切入点,通过调查分析行业岗位对学生英语能力的需求,制定出以实际工作任务为导向的课程内容;构建接近职场工作环境的教学情景,将教学过程构建为"工作过程"而不是"学习过程";课程考核引入职场考核机制;打造职业化的教师队伍等途径来有效提高学生的知识水平和职业能力.

[Abstract]Teaching of vocational college English---a basic course in higher vocational curriculum,is still subject to the influence of traditional teaching mode.The teaching content is not well tailored to specific profession,which does not meet the requirements of higher vocational education.So it is imperative to reform the teaching of vocational college English.Teachers should at first make a survey to analyze the job requirements of English and then orient the curriculum content to practical work assignments.Teaching situation should simulate the real workplace environment and the teaching process should imitate the"real course of work",not the"traditional course of learning".In addition,evaluation mechanism of real workplace should be introduced to evaluate the classroom teaching.To effectively raise the students'level of technical knowledge and improve their vocational ability,we should also establish a teaching staff with professionalism.

一、理论依据

英国著名语言学家Tom Hutchinson& Alan Waters在他们的著作English for SpecificPurposes(1987)中,对(English for Specific Purposes,简称ESP)作了如下说明:专门用途英语作为一种语言教学途径,其教学中的所有决策,如内容与方法等均以满足学习者学习需求为基础,强调突出语言应用能力,关注学习者所处的环境.目前国内学者引用较多的定义版本为:ESP是指与某种特定职业或学科相关的英语,满足学习者的特殊需要以及特定的语言环境.

二、理论的指导意义

我国普通高校已引入ESP理论应用于英语教学多年,但高职院校对此理论的应用仅仅处于起步阶段且步履艰难,受基础英语传统教学方式的长期影响和束缚,教法上的转变不够……
