雷圭元“版、刻、结”设计理念探析

摘 要：以往对雷圭元“版、刻、结”造型规律的讨论集中在图案基础课程教学中“版、刻、结”造型规律与“写生变化”之间孰重孰轻，孰是孰非的关系问题上，没有对“版、刻、结”观点背后深刻的思想动机和时代语境进行探讨。文章通过对“版、刻、结”造型特征的重新解读，阐述了“版、刻、结”设计理念的民主化内核和功能化倾向，揭示了在当时社会背景下雷圭元提出“版、刻、结”造型规律的科学性和进步性。

To Retranslate the Concept Of “Rigid Carved Knot” of LeiGuiYuan

Abstract ：Past the concept of"rigid， carved， knot"by LEIGuiyuan was under the discussion， which focused on the design of basic course teaching of "rigid， carved， knot" model regulation and "sketch" .However，they do not discuss the view of "rigid， carved， knot" ，which has a profound ideological motivation and a complicate time context. Based on "rigid， carved， knot" model features， this paper expounds the design idea of "rigid， carved， knot" democratization of kernel and the functional orientation， revealed that under the social background at that time LeiGuiyuan put forward "rigid， carved， knot" model regulation is scientific and progressive.

雷圭元于1961年在《漫谈图案造型规律——对图案教学的改进意见》一文中提出了“图案是富有创造和想象力的艺术，否则哪里来的阿房宫、希腊神庙、锦绣衣衫、箱笼什物呢？”的观点，于1962年在《再说几句心里话》里提到：“我说的图案，是指某一物品的总体设计图，不是指某一器物设计图中的局部纹样，这一点必须与图案纹饰区别开来，问题才能谈清楚。”进而于1963年在《图案基础》中专门针对图案的定义和图案设计的范围做了概念的廓清和范围的设定，在文中雷圭元指出“图案是实用美术、装饰美术、建筑美术方面，关于形式、色彩、结构的预先设计。在工艺材料、用途、经济、生产等条件制约下，制成图样，装饰纹样等方案的通称。”由此可见雷圭元所指的“图案”其内涵涉及到人类衣、食、住、行、用诸多方面，并初步建立起了颇具理论高度的设计观念和设计思维。其“图案”概念的所指与“设计”以及“design”在内容上趋于一致。……
