Introduction

Nowadays, sharing economy is developing rapidly both in China and America, it has become a well-known term since eBay was launched. This kind of business is surprisingly beneficial to the society.

First, by reducing the amount of goods needed to be used, it is beneficial to the environment through preventing too much carbon footprint from slipping out: since products needed to be produced reduced too). Second, sharing economy can improve peoples life quality. People are able to use something they cant afford or dont want to keep it chronically through sharing economy.

One of the most significant parts of sharing economy is sharing-ride. Sharing-ride not only is a good transportation for people who cant buy a car but also can relieve the serious traffic jam in big city like Beijing and New York. Sharing-ride has already become a new fashion with millions of users in the world, so it is important for us to find out the problems developing sharing-ride, and to improve it.

Information We Gathered

Based on a Chinese academic survey has referenced, more than 91% of the sharing ride drivers have driving experience more than 3 years, and more than 20 percent of the drivers have driving experience more than 12 years. What I am trying to say is that only surprisingly small number of rides haring drivers may be unfamiliar to driving. It is untrue that large amounts of new drivers caused accident usually.

At first, Chinese government punish sharing ride as an illegal business strictly, but as time went by, the attitude of government toward sharing ride is becoming loose. In 2016, the official regulation about sharing ride is settled. People surveyed are Chinese live in both China and America. Our research includes people in all ages. We divided male and female part. Since peoples demand for using car is increasing day by day, its not surprise to see sharing-ride appeared. Compared to traditional taxi, few sharing-ride-cars are driving without passengers. This means that sharing-ride optimizes the allocation of market resources. Therefore, it is necessary for us to develop sharing-ride.

However, existing regulations about sharing-ride has many problems. In fact, many sharing-ride drivers rights are being infringed. To the government, our research is helpful to improve existing regulations. To the society, the potential problems our research point out can obtain more attention. By doing this, we can also help the society solve these problems and encourage more people to join the sharing-ride

At first, we will classify the information we got and pick out some specific accidents caused by sharing-ride drivers to analyze deeply. We will find out how the court judge these cases and if the public or media satisfied with that.  By doing this, we can find out how much responsibility are sharing-ride companies are taking and public opinion about it. This will also help us illustrate our hypothesis.

Second, we will analyze existing regulations and the implementation of them in different regions. The data we find may tell us the influence of the policies and the problems they have already solved.

Third, after analyzing some cases and laws, we will point out some problems existing regulations still have. Since there might be different judgments for same cases in different regions, we are going to compare these judgments and state why should or shouldnt the judgments be different in different places.

Fourth, we will introduce some solution offered in other papers, also, we will judge these solutions and check the maneuverability of these suggestions. By doing this, we will find out the opinions of expert in the law area and economic area. We dont know for sure about the relation between sharing-ride companies and the drivers for now, so, through this way we may give the relationship a specific definition. At last, we may summarize the possible solutions to the problems.

Conclusion

It turns out that some governments regulation about qualities needed to be a local sharing-driver is pretty unreasonable. For example, we dont think the regulations about sharing-ride cars wheelbase is necessary. As long as customers know what car they are going to ride, it is no need for governments to manage these stuffs. In fact, some of these new regulations are “illegal” according to former law: 19 different cities in China have rule that “only local drivers are allowed to become a sharing-ride driver, these rules all disobeyed the law settled in 2003. In total, these regulations are doing more on suppressing sharing-ride, which suppress sharing economy, instead of encouraging it, so we think the governments are not doing enough protecting the social value that efficient ride share enterprises provided to a city.

Based on what we find, the number of sharing-ride drivers are decreasing dramatically, since governments are giving sharing-ride company more pressure, the drivers income become increasingly unstable, and the new regulations about the requirements to be a sharing-ride driver stop new drivers from participating. The information we gathered do confirmed our original predictions.

Recommendation for Further Research

We think that further researchers should collect experts opinion about sharing-ride drivers relationship with sharing-ride company. It is very complicated to decide whether the company should be responsible for the accidents drivers taking responsibility without knowing the relationship.

Although it is just a normal paper which actually has few exiciting things, I do believe that the way I learn to cooperate with my companion Wang is something unique for me. When first constructing the paper, Wang and I actually divided the paper into several parts in order to avoid possible disagreement and save the time we need to spend in communicating, which is considered to be time-wasting at first. But with the paper developing, we found that it is impossible for us to combine two entirely different part of the paper without communicating deeply. Indeed, we spend a lot of time arguing if some part of the paper is necessary, for example, we cannot decide if the comparison of American  and Chinese laws in sharing meaningful, and at last we might need to spend even more time to reconstruct the paper. But it turns out worthwhile, the communication between me and Wang is proved to be important, and we learn that what a critical role communication is playing in the paper.
