菲茨定律及其若干修正版极限不适用性分析

【摘  要】菲茨定律及其修正版被越来越多的设计师所接受,目前已被广泛应用于交互设计的各个领域。论文通过对菲茨定律及其若干较有代表性的修正版的极限分析,证明了这些定律在极限状态——目标区域宽度趋近于无穷大时不适用,为提出在极限状态与普通状态都较为适用的新公式建立了目标,从而为在常见的目标区域尺寸范围内与实验数据更契合、能够更好地指导计算机交互界面设计的公式的提出提供了有较大潜力的研究方向。

【Abstract】Fitts' Law and its modified versions are accepted by more and more designers. At present, they have been widely applied in various fields of interaction design. Through the limit analysis of Fitts' Law and several of its more representative modified versions, the paper proves that these laws are not applicable in the limit state, that is, when the width of the target area approaches infinity. The paper establishes a goal for proposing new formula that is more applicable for both limit state and normal state, and then provides a research direction with great potential for proposing the formula which is more consistent with the experimental data and can better guide the computer interaction interface design within the range of common target area size.
