翻译工作室在应用型本科院校英语专业建设中的应用研究

摘 要 随着“一带一路”进程的推进，中国与世界交流日益加深，市场对翻译的数量和质量都提出了更大的挑战。如何培养翻译人才、如何提高学生的翻译技能就成了英语类专业人才培养的重要目标。本文以笔者所在学校为例，探讨了以英语语言文化学院为依托成立校内英语翻译工作室的意义、可行性及运营模式，并得出以下结论：校内翻译工作室的目的不在于培养职业翻译，而是以翻译作为手段促进双语转换能力和英语综合应用能力，以工作室和小组研讨方式实现学生的多元化培养，提高师生服务地区和社会的能力，从而为全面促进专业建设做出积极的贡献。

Abstract With the advancement of “One Belt and One Road” initiative and the deepening of communication between China and the world， the market has put forward greater challenges to both the quantity and quality of translation. How to cultivate translation talents from English majors？ How to improve the translation skills of students has become an important goal for the English majors at colleges. This paper intends to take the author's school as an example to discuss the significance， feasibility and operation mode of English translation studios and concludes that such studio is not aimed to cultivate professional translators or interpreters， but mainly to function as a means to promote he bilingual transformation ability and English comprehensive application ability thus to make contributions to overall English major construction through both real translation projects and seminars.

0 概述

翻譯工作坊和翻译工作室是翻译教学改革的产物，Gentzler在其著作Contemporary Translation Theories中将翻译工作室定义为“类似于某种翻译中心的论坛，在该论坛上，两个或两个以上的译者聚集在一起从事翻译活动”。[1]Wolfson认为翻译工作室着重对在翻译过程中如何阅读、如何理解以及如何传达思想进行自由讨论，是一种反思性实践的体验。[2]在国内，最早是肖红在2005年的《“翻译作坊”在翻译教学中的应用》中提及翻译工作坊。[3]

本文所指的翻译工作室与纯粹作为一种教学模式的翻译工作坊不同，而是指以应用型本科院校英语专业所在院系为依托，主要由校内学生运营，校内校外导师共同提供指导、按照翻译公司运营模式运作的一种营利性的组织。……
