《义务教育英语课程标准》（2011年版）的基本理念是“鼓励学生在教师的指导下，通过体验、实践、参与、探究和合作等方式，发现语言规律，逐步掌握语言知识和技能，不断调整情感态度，形成有效的学习策略，发展自主学习能力”。

在这样的理念之下，初中英语教学要选择恰当的教学技术和手段，促进学生的有效学习以及英语学科素养的形成和发展。

一、教学背景分析

1. 教学内容。

本节课是译林版英语八年级上册Unit5 Wild animals综合技能课，从外貌、饮食、习性、能力及面临的危险五个方面介绍了老虎和狼两种动物，并通过Millie和妈妈的对话讨论如何保护野生动物。

2. 学情分析。

本节课的授课对象为八年级学生。学生整体英语水平一般，但英语学习兴趣较高，乐于感知新事物，愿意进行课堂交流讨论，能简单表达自己的观点。个别学生英语基础较弱，自信心不够。

本节课涉及的老虎和狼两种动物是学生熟知的，且学生在之前的课程中已经学习了与本话题类似的内容，对该话题有一定的了解。

本节课的听力材料语言较简单，学生在获取听力材料表层信息时没有障碍，但在整合信息进行深层次理解和批判性思考等方面的能力相对薄弱。

二、教学目标设计

1. 教学目标。

By the end of this lesson， students are expected to：

（1） grasp the information about specific characteristics， appearances， abilities， eating habits and danger in the context of animals;

（2）obtain the key information from listening;

（3）express opinions about protecting wild animals in English;

（4）be more aware of the importance of protecting the wild animals by listening and speaking.

（1）Obtain the key information from listening.

（2）Express opinions about protecting wild animals in English.

三、教学过程设计

Step One 原体验 （Original Experience）.

1.Students watch a clip of Zootopia and answer a question.

Q1： What animals did you see in the video？ Say the names as many as possible.

2. Students come to the front and do a matching game.

Q2： What is your favourite animal？ And why？

在原體验阶段，教师用学生喜欢的动画片《疯狂动物城》片段直接进入本节课有关动物的话题，快速激活学生的已有知识、已有经验，活跃课堂气氛，引领学生进入“新知”的领域。……
