【结构透视】

这是用how进行提问的特殊疑问句，how意为“如何……;怎样……”，这是对交通方式的提問，一般用“take the / a +交通工具”或“by+交通工具”等来回答。

—How do you go to work？你怎样去上班？

—By bus. 乘公共汽车。

—How does he get to the art club？ 他怎样去艺术俱乐部？

—He takes the subway. 他乘地铁。

【温馨提示】 乘坐交通工具的表达方法：

1. 用介词表示交通方式：

（1） by + 表示交通工具的名词，泛指“乘/坐某种交通工具”。如：by bike， by bus， by subway等。但是“步行”用on foot，而不用by foot。如：

They go to school by subway every day. 他们每天乘地铁去上学。

Travelling by car is great fun. 开车旅行很有趣。

（2） in / on + 表示交通工具的名词，泛指或特指“乘/坐某种交通工具”，其中名词前常有冠词、物主代词、指示代词或名词所有格等修饰语，名词可以是单数或复数形式。如：

We are going there in / on a bus. 我们将乘公共汽车去那里。（泛指）

We are going to France in Johns car. 我们将坐约翰的车去法国。（特指）

2. 用动词表示交通方式：

（1） “动词 + to + 地点名词”或“动词 + 地点副词”。 这种动词常见的有：walk， ride， drive， fly等。如：

I usually walk to school. 我通常步行上学。

We sometimes ride to school. 我们有时骑车上学。

They drive to the station. 他们开车去车站。

注意：如果后面接地点副词here， there， home 等时，介词to应省略。

（2）“take a（an） / the + 表示交通工具的名词”，表示“乘/坐……”。如：

Will you take a bus to go there？ 你要乘公共汽车去那儿吗？

I take a taxi to the hospital. 我坐计程车去医院。

Tom often takes the train to go to work. 汤姆常坐火车上班。

（3）“ride on / in + a（an） + 表示交通工具的名词”，表示“乘 / 坐 / 骑……”。如：

She gets sick when she rides in / on a bus. 她坐公共汽车时晕车了。

The boy likes to ride on a motorbike. 那男孩喜欢骑摩托车。

He rides a horse here. 他骑马来到了这里。

【拓展】 “go for a ride in / on + 表示交通工具的名词”，表示“乘 / 坐 / 骑……去兜风”。例如：

They went for a ride on their bicycles. 他们骑自行车去兜了一圈。

Lets go for a ride in the car. 我们乘汽车去兜风吧。
