“稀疏”游标卡尺的读数及精确度研究

摘  要：针对现在出现的一种“稀疏”游标尺的读数，研究了游标卡尺的读数方法及其精确度，得出：（1）游标卡尺的精确度由游标主尺的最小分度值长度和游标卡尺的格数确定;（2）由给定的条件来选择游标卡尺的读数方法：如果给定的是游标尺的长度就可以选择减法读数法，如果给定的是精度值就可以选择加法读数法或者直接读数法。

Study on the Reading and Precision of "Sparse" Vernier Calipers

Abstract： Aiming at the reading of a "sparse" vernier caliper， the reading method and accuracy of vernier caliper are studied. It is concluded that： （1） The accuracy of vernier caliper is determined by the minimum division length of vernier main ruler and the number of grids of vernier caliper. （2） Select the reading method of the vernier caliper according to the given conditions： If the length of the vernier caliper is given， the subtraction reading method can be selected; If the precision value is given， the addition reading method or direct reading method can be selected.

1  游标卡尺读数原理介绍

游标卡尺是比钢板尺要精密的长度测量工具，它利用游标把钢尺上估读的那位数值准确地读出来，可以方便地测量长度、内外径、深度。常见游标卡尺按其精度有：0.1 mm、0.05 mm和0.02 mm三种规格，具体见图1。

其读数原理为（以0.1 mm为例）：尺身上的最小分度为1 mm，游标尺上10个小的等分刻线，总长9 mm，每一分度为0.9 mm，比主尺上的最小分度相差0.1 mm。量爪并拢时主尺和游标尺的零刻度线对齐，它们的第一条刻度线相差0.1 mm，第二条刻度线相差0.2 mm……第十条刻度线相差1 mm，即游标的第十条刻度线恰好与主尺的9 mm刻度线对齐。当游标尺向右移动0.1 mm时，它的第一条刻度线恰好与主尺的1 mm刻度线对齐，此时游标尺的读数为0.1 mm;同样，当游标尺的第五条刻度线跟主尺的5 mm刻度线对齐时，游标尺的读数为0.5 mm，依此类推，在测量大于1 mm的长度时，整的毫米数要从游标尺的“0”线与主尺左侧的刻度线读出，游标尺的读数由游标与主刻度线对齐的游标刻线读出，则测量值（L）=主尺读数（X）+游标尺读数。
