如何用对比法学习定语从句与名词性从句

无论是定语从句还是名词性从句都是历年高考的高频考点，由于二者有很多容易混淆的地方，导致考生容易出现错误，进而失去应得的分数。本文通过对比的方式帮助考生复习这两种从句。

一、定语从句与主语从句

定语从句相当于形容词，在句中作定语，修饰先行词;主语从句相当于名词，在句中作主语。例 1：_________is clear to us，the moon revolvesaround the earth and the earth revolves around the sun.

解析：As。本题填as引导非限制性定语从句，修饰限定逗号后面句子的内容。

例 2：_________is clear to us that the moon revolves around the earth and the earth revolves aroundthe sun.

解析：It。本题填It作形式主语，而真正的主语是that引导的从句。

例 3：_________is clear to us is that the moon revolves around the earth and the earth revolves aroundthe sun.

解析：What。What在空格处作主语，而且what引导的从句（What is clear to us）是主语从句，在整个句子中作主语，谓语是第二个 is，that 引导的从句（thatthe moon ... the sun）在整个句子中作is的表语。二、定语从句与同位语从句

二、定语从句的作用相当于形容词，修饰限定先行词;的作用，对其前的名词进行补充与解释。ìíîïïïï引导定语从句的关系词在定语从句中作宾语、主语，或者表语;引导同位语从句的引导词在同位语从句中不作任何成分，只起到了连接前后句子的作用。例 4：Their grandfather made a promise _______made them glad.

解析：which/that。本题中的先行词是promise，指物，应用关系代词 which/that 引导定语从句对其进行修饰，且which/that在定语从句中作主语。例 5：Their grandfather made a promise________he would give them one million dollars.

解析：that 。本题填that引导同位语从句，补充说明其前promise的内容。

三、定语从句与宾语从句

定语从句用来描述先行词，具有形容词的作用，

引导定语从句的引导词在从句中作主语或宾语等成分;

宾语从句是指从句在整个句子中作介词或谓语

动词的宾语。

例6：Anybody_________has  given  the  old  man food is worth learning from.

解析：who 。先行词是Anybody，指人，故填who 引导定语从句修饰Anybody 。在整个句子中，主语是 Anybody，谓语是is，表语是worth learning from。

例7：We should learning from _________ has giv- en the old man food.

解析：whoever 。本题填whoever 引导宾语从句，作介词from的宾语，且引导词whoever在宾语从句中作主语。

四、定语从句与表语从句

定语从句跟在先行词之后，先行词可是名词、

代词或句子;

表语从句跟在系动词之后。

例8：He is not the young man________he used to be.

解析：that/who/whom 或者填/（省略关系代词）。本句的先行词是the young man，指人，且空格处在从句中作系动词be的表语，故填that/who/whom或者填/ （省略关系代词）引导定语从句修饰限定先行词the  young man。

例9：He is not________he used to be.

解析：what 。本题填what引导从句作is的表语，即：从句what he used to be作系动词is的表语。

總之，在解答与定语从句和名词性从句相关的试题时，要先分析句子结构，找出句子中的各个成分，然后根据定语从句或名词性从句的相关知识，填写出正确的引导词。
