Sula Wangping was born in a small village at the foot of Mount San’ao in southeastern China’s Sichuan Province.More than 20 years ago,he participated in an expedition to San’ao with China’s national mountaineering team.Being amazed by the grandeur of the snow-capped mountain and obssessed with the exhilaration of climbing,he decided to pursue climbing as a professional career.In June 2019,he led eight amateur mountaineers to the summit of Mount Qomolangma.After overcoming hardships in extreme cold conditions,they became the world’s first team to reach the top of the mountain in 2019.
