Hu Ge has Had Only a Small Surgery

In the first gala for the new artists of the Meng Niu Music Chart(蒙牛音乐风云榜), Hu Ge(胡歌), who released his first full length music album(个人专辑) entitled Start Out(《出发》) last year, won the prize of New Artist Across Fields (跨界新人奖). He wore a pair of black glasses, for he just had a small eye surgery. In his acceptance speech, he said, “I wear a pair of black glasses at night. ” For this, the audience gave him a big hand (热烈鼓掌).

Hu had a car accident in 2006. Although he survived, he was seriously injured, especially in the eye and neck. He was sent to a hospital for surgery. According to a weekly tabloid(娱乐周刊), in spite of his recovery, some scars can still be found near his eyes. The newspaper estimated that it might cost him and his agent an enormous amount of money to repair the scars without satisfactory effects, and expressed doubt about his future.

Responding to this report, Miss Cai, Hus agent, says,“Since his recovery in 2007, Hu has acted in many films and TV series, including The Legend of the Condor Heroes (《射雕英雄传》), and has released his first album Start Out, all of which have turned out to be quite successful. We have witnessed his efforts and progress. His achievements have shown us that the scars have not affected his acting career. He has experienced a great difficulty and has managed to handle the resulting pressures from both inside and outside. We can see that a promising future depends on a correct attitude and hard work.”

Its Time for Super Junior-M Members

to Realize their Mistakes

Super Junior-M is a music group established as a response to the rising popularity of Korean boy band Super Junior in China, focused entirely on the Chinese music market. As the first international music group composed of members from both Korea and China, this band was well known throughout China and Asia before its debut.

But not long ago, something unfortunate happened. Some fans were trampled when they were waiting eagerly for the arrival of the group at a Hong Kong airport. However, the group left the airport immediately without saying anything to comfort the enthusiastic fans, resulting in a complete chaos. Later, in a banquet celebrating their first successful performance in Hong Kong, all the members except one enjoyed themselves by drinking champagne and eating cakes, completely forgetting what happened at the airport. Only Han Geng, the group leader, was considerate enough to give some sliced cakes to the journalists present at the banquet, who felt overwhelmed by this unexpected favor (受宠若惊).

Actually, earlier, some Chinese fans were once insulted by SJ-M members in public. In spite of such unhappy experiences, it seems that most of the Chinese fans have not become disgusted. Instead, they still show their support as usual, which is really touching. From this, we can see how tolerant the Chinese fans are. And we also hope that the group members will realize their mistakes and no longer do anything to hurt their fans. Only in this way can they become more popular.

Wang Lihong Asks his Father to Compose Words for his Songs

Born in the State of New York, Wang Lihong(王力宏) showed great talents in music in his childhood and has developed such gifts in a free and happy environment. With hard work, he has succeeded in becoming an extremely popular singer.

Last year, on Christmas day, Wang attended the press conferences for the release of his new music album(新专辑发布会) in Taipei, Shanghai and Hong Kong one after another, becoming the first Chinese singer ever to do so. Although he had only four hours for sleep, he didnt show any sign of tiredness. Because of this, he is nicknamed “King of Steel” (铁人王) of a new generation, the second person after Liu Dehua (刘德华). He did not complain about such “hard labor” (强迫劳役) for the record companies(唱片公司). Instead, he said that he liked such a life, because he was a workaholic(工作狂). He said jokingly, “A record company is like a company for express delivery service(快递公司), while I am a kind of goods which is delivered from one place to another. ”

Wang has also succeeded in inviting his father who is a doctor in America to compose words for his songs. As he and his father live far away from each other, they have to communicate through online camera(视频). So far, his father has composed two songs for him. Whenever he is not satisfied with his fathers lyric, Wang will ask him to revise it. His father is very cooperative. Wang said jokingly,“I will pay my father enough royalty (版税) so that he can enjoy his life after he resigns next year. ”
