让学生数学实践活动落到实处

【摘要】数学新课程标准注重密切联系学生的生活和经验,注重学生的亲身体验。在教学中:从生活情境中组织实践活动,让学生发现数学;从学生的生活背景中组织实践活动,让学生探索数学;从学生已有的生活经验中组织实践活动,让学生领悟数学;从学生喜欢的课外活动中组织实践活动,让学生应用数学;从作业与课后练习中设计实践活动,让学生拓展数学。

《数学课程标准》指出:“学生的数学学习内容应当是现实的、有意义的、富有挑战性的,学习内容要有利于学生主动地进行观察、实验、猜测、推理与交流等数学活动”。可见,新课程标准注重密切联系学生的生活和经验,注重学生的亲身体验。在平时的教学中,我注重联系学生的生活实际,开展一些有实效的实践活动,培养孩子能用数学的眼光看待生活、结合生活学习数学达到应用所学知识,解决生活中一些实际问题的能力。

1.从生活情境中组织实践活动,发现数学

现实生活是学习数学的起点。教学时,教师可以创设一定的生活情境,让学生在实践中发现问题和提出问题,在实践活动中理解知识、掌握知识。如,在教学“毫米的认识”时,我让学生用已经学过的长度单位米、厘米、分米去测量周围物体的长度,当学生量到数学书的厚度还不到1厘米时,就会产生问题:“有没有比厘米更小的长度单位呢?”老师抓住这一契机说:“当然有啊!它就是毫米。那么你……
