探索英语听说考试的新模式

【摘要】培养学生良好的口语表达能力是英语教学的重点环节,在2009年中考中,英语的听说采用一种全新的考试模式,即“人机对话”的形式,体现出考试的公平与公正。结合学生实际,通过多听、多读、多记、多看等教学方法的综合运用,积极应对这种新的考试模式,提高学生的听说技能。

英语“听、说”的重要性正日益被英语学习者和教育者所看重,如果你听不懂别人说的英语,也就成了所谓的聋子英语,听是说的一半,既听不懂如何去说?变成了哑巴英语。《新课标》明确指出要提高学生的综合语言运用能力,做好“听、说、读、写”工作。但如何正确有效地评估英语听说学习效果却成为现行教育体制的一个难题,特别是在中考中如何能真正做到公平、公正、公开的评价考生的听说水平?我省在2009年中考中英语的听说采用“人机对话”的形式,笔者认为这一新的考试模式,受到教师和考生的一致好评。

1. “人机对话”——公正

以往的口语、听力考试,由于考生数量大、师资的力量、考试设备有限,采用直接面对面的考试方法,在组织管理方面有很大的难度,师资水平的差异以及考官和考生直接面对面的方式,无法绝对控制和保证考试公正、公平地进行,同时加大了考官的劳动强度,也会影响考生的情绪。当他们坐在考官面前的时候多多少少会感到紧张,由于考生紧张的心理状态,使本来应对答如流变为前言不答后语,直接影响考生的成绩。……
