“新时代推进西部大开发形成新格局指导意见”发布

5月17日，《中共中央国务院关于新时代推进西部大开发形成新格局的指导意见》正式发布，就加快形成西部大开发新格局，推进西部地区高质量发展，提出了指导意见。其中，重庆作为西部大开发的重要战略支点，迎来了新的发展机遇。《意见》支持重庆打造内陆开放高地和开发开放枢纽，积极实施中新（重庆）战略性互联互通示范项目，鼓励重庆加快建设国际门户枢纽城市。

The guideline on advancing the development of western regions in the new era， issued on May 17， points out the directions for expediting the efforts to make new strides in developing the western regions and to promote high-quality development of the western regions. As the important strategic node of the strategy， Chongqing sees new opportunities for its development. The guideline backs Chongqing to become a leader and hub in inland opening-up and to proactively implement the China-Singapore （Chongqing） Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity （CCI）， and encourages Chongqing to expedite its efforts to become an international hub.

重慶中德未来工厂研究中心将落户科学城

5月25日，重庆建筑科技职业学院与德国弗劳恩霍夫协会达成合作协议。双方将在虚拟工程和VR沉浸项目领域展开合作，在西部（重庆）科学城建成重庆中德未来工厂研究中心。该校还将进一步加大与以色列等国家的国际合作，助力西部（重庆）科学城建设。

China-Germany （Chongqing） Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute to be set up in the science city

On May 25th， Chongqing Construction Technology Vocational College and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft reached an agreement to carry out a range of virtual engineering and VR immersion projects， including the establishment of China-Germany （Chongqing） Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute at the West China （Chongqing） Science City. The College will further international cooperation with countries including Israel support the development of the science city.

川渝两地贸促会签署战略合作协议

5月15日，重庆市贸促会与四川省贸促会在重庆签署战略合作协议，双方将创新国际贸易投资促进方式，加强经贸交流合作，打造国际化法治化便利化营商环境。根据协议，双方将在推进协同发展、建立工作联动机制、国际商会合作等方面加强交流合作。协同发展主要围绕政策、机制、信息、平台、服务的共享展开。

CCPIT Sichuan and Chongqing signed strategic cooperation agreement

On May 15th CCPIT Chongqing and Sichuan vowed， by concluding a strategic cooperation agreement in Chongqing， to innovate ways of investment promotion and international trade， strengthen economic and trade exchanges and cooperation， and create an international pro-business environment by the rule of law.
