Abstract:Neonatal jaundice is a common clinical pediatric disease,。The significant pathogenic factors are genetic, viral infection, biliary atresia, difficulty breastfeeding, and some of the reasons for neonatal jaundice unknown. The clinical symptoms are yellow skin and sclera. High levels of serumbilirubin can through the blood-brain barrier, resulting in nuclear jaundice, central nervous damage, and even death. Vitamin D deficiency is a worldwide public health problem, and also a concern of maternal and child health care. vitamin Dand bilirubin are both metabolized in the liver. Is VD deficiency one of the causes of neonatal jaundice? What is the correlation between the two? This article will be a review on the correlation between neonatal jaundice and vitamin D.
