基于FPGA的MIL-STD-1553B信号发生器设计与实现

摘 要:为满足航空装备维修保障单位地面MIL-STD-1553B信号传输电缆检测需要,本研究设计一种手持式MIL-STD-1553B信号发生器。系统采用现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)芯片作为主控制芯片,对外部输入信号进行曼彻斯特编码,利用MIL-STD-1553B信号收发芯片HI-1573将编码结果转换成差分信号,经过变压器耦合成标准的MIL-STD-1553B总线信号。其中,外部输入信号为自产生信号、RS485接口输入信号和WiFi接口输入信号的一路。为满足便携式需求,本系统采用电池供电,并提供充电电路和电量显示电路,满足用户電量补充和电量监控需求。经验证,此系统作为总线控制器(BC)向远程终端(RT)发送信号,通过总线监控器(BM)监控,数据发送稳定可靠。最后,通过示波器对此系统产生的信号进行物理特性测量。测试结果表明,信号符合MIL-STD-1553B总线信号标准,满足电缆测试信号源要求,具有良好的应用前景。

Design and Implementation of MIL-STD-1553B Signal

Generator Based on FPGA

Abstract: In order to meet the requirements of ground MIL-STD-1553B signal transmission cable testing for aviation equipment maintenance and support units, this research designs a handheld MIL-STD-1553B signal generator. The system uses a field programmable gate array (FPGA) chip as the main control chip to perform Manchester encoding on external input signals, and uses the MIL-STD-1553B signal transceiver chip HI-1573 to convert the encoding result into a differential signal, which is coupled to a standard MIL-STD-1553B bus signal through a transformer. Among them, the external input signal is one of self-generated signal, RS485 interface input signal and WiFi interface input signal. In order to meet the needs of portable, this system adopts battery power supply, and provides a charging circuit and a power display circuit to meet the user's power supplement and power monitoring needs. It has been verified that this system is used as a bus controller (BC) to send a signal to a remote terminal (RT), monitored by a bus monitor (BM), and the data transmission is stable and reliable. Finally, the physical characteristics of the signal generated by this system are measured by an oscilloscope. The test results show that the signal conforms to the MIL-STD-1553B bus signal standard, meets the requirements of the cable test signal source, and has a good application prospect.

MIL-STD-1553B总线是飞机内部时分制命令/响应式多路复用数据总线,它是20世纪70年代由美国公布的一种串行多路数据总线标准,被广泛地应用于飞机综合航电系统、外挂物管理与集成系统,并逐步扩展到飞机控制等系统及坦克、舰船、航天等领域[1]。

在航空装备保障单位地面MIL-STD-1553电缆检测过程中,为提高测试的覆盖率,要添加MIL-STD-1553信号源满足测试需求。目前,MIL-STD-1553信号发生器均采用知识产权(IP)核来实现,成本高且连接方式单一,由于不内置电池,需要外接电源才能工作,不便于携带。……
