摘要：该文对冯纪忠先生建筑文化精神的研究，特别是对冯纪忠“以人为本”的公民建筑设计思想的分析，提出了建筑如何实现与古为新问题，即建筑理论的思维空间视野要扩大，不能只是在建筑范围内打转转，要从大科学的角度观察建筑问题，所谓走出建筑学；走出建筑学界的象牙塔，建筑是全社会、全民族和全体公民的建筑，需要建筑界内外的共识与合力才能改变中国建筑的落后面貌，只靠建筑界的自治自为是不可能再创辉煌的。

Abstract：According to the study on the architectural culture spirit of Feng Jizhong and especially the analysis on his civil architectural design thought of humanism, the question is presented of how to innovate architectural thoughts based on the old ones, which refers to expand thinking space and vision for architectural theories instead of focusing on architecture only, to perceive architectural issues in the light of Big Science instead of architecture for architecture is of the whole society, the entire nation and all the civilians. The reappeared splendor of Chinese architecture calls for the joint efforts from both the architectural circle and outside the circle instead of the circle itself.

前言

冯纪忠（1915-2009）先生，是我国著名建筑学家、建筑师和建筑教育家、中国现代建筑奠基人、现代城市规划学家、现代风景园林学家、中国城市规划专业及风景园林专业的创始人。

2015年是冯纪忠先生百年诞辰，从年初开始建筑界已先后举行了一系列纪念活动。

余近日也在品读冯先生今年5月刚刚问世的《冯纪忠百年诞辰研究文集》（赵冰、王明贤主编，中国建筑工业出版社2015 年5月第一版，定价98元）受益良多。总体上感受到“与古为新因势利导公民建筑”这12个字是冯纪忠先生建筑文化学术思想的精髓。

对于公民建筑这里要多些说明，因为公民建筑是冯先生的建筑设计哲学，他一生所追求的是做“以人为本”的公民建筑设计师。以人为本做公民建筑设计，是冯先生的主导思想。
