语篇教学法在高职英语精读课中的应用

摘 要 与围绕语言点和语法知识进行讲解的传统教学法相比，语篇教学法更注重让学生从全局上去理解和把握文章，更注重意义的构建。因此，本文将以True Height一文为例来探讨语篇教学法在高职英语精读课中的应用，旨在启发更多英语教师在教学实践中采用此法，以进一步提高教学效果。

Abstract Compared with the traditional teaching methods which explain language points and grammar knowledge， the text teaching method pays more attention to let the students understand and grasp the article from the global situation， and pay more attention to the construction of meaning. Therefore， this paper applies to True Height as a example to discuss the discourse teaching method in English Intensive Reading Class in higher vocational colleges， to inspire more English teachers to adopt this method in the teaching practice， to further improve the teaching effect.

0 引言

精讀课是英语专业的一门核心课程，是一门全面培养学生的听、说、读、写、译能力，全面提高学生英语综合能力的课程。然而，由于受到传统教学观念和教学方法的影响，长期以来，英语精读课都是以教师为中心，以单词、短语以及长难句的分析讲解为主。学生多为被动、机械地学习。这种以语言形式为中心的教学模式使得学生只注重语言点和语法知识的学习，却无法灵活应用所学知识。学生只见树木，不见森林，其思维能力、独立分析和处理问题的能力及语言的应用能力未能得到有效的提高。对于应用型人才的高职院校英语专业学生而言，这更加制约了他们语言应用能力的培养，不利于其今后的发展。因此，高职院校的英语精读课亟需改变传统的教学方式，采用更重视意义构建的教学，让学生在夯实基础的同时，全面理解文章字里行间的意思，从而逐步提高自身英语水平，全面提高自身的素质。

1 高职英语精读课教学现状

就目前高职英语精读课的教学现状来看，由于高职院校英语专业学生基础相对较弱，精读课上教师往往将较多的精力放在词汇、句型、语法等语言基础知识的讲解上，以期夯实学生的基础。……
