Step 1.Warm-up

T：Hello，boys and girls.Lets play a game.Listen do and say.Please ‘say Im …ing.

Ss：OK.

（教师做动作，学生一边做动作，一边用英语说出自己做的动作。）

T：Great.Next，look and guess.Please say ‘are you…ing？

Ss：OK.

（教师做动作，学生用教师指定的语言来进行猜测。）

设计意图：上课伊始，listen，do and say的活动让师生之间进行简单的交流互动，看似简单的情感交流很容易使学生更加积极融入课堂，同时能够让学生的注意力集中。这样的活动能够激发学生的上课热情，调动学生英语学习的积极性。Look and guess的活动让学生感知新句型，同时创设真实的会话情境，为课文教学创设一个相对真实的语境。

Step 2.Pre-reading

1.Lets learn

T：Look，I like tomatoes and potatoes.I like cooking vegetables and meat.Im a great cook.

（出现本课新词汇：tomato，potato，vegetable，meat）

2.Let's chant

T：I like looking food.

设计意图：创設情境，带领学生进入我的厨房，通过对自己是一个大厨的介绍，让学生初步感知本课重点单词，同时设计chant的活动，既可以活跃课堂，调动学生学习的积极性，又可以帮助学生在轻松愉快的氛围下巩固新词汇。

Step 3.While-reading

1.Watch and choose

What are they cooking？

设计意图：通过听录音并观看生动的卡通，使信息输入立体化，调动学生多种感官的参与，使学生初步感知并理解课文，生动的动画能够激起学生阅读课文的兴趣，本题的设置能够培养学生获取信息和处理信息的能力，同时为后面while-reading的教学做铺垫。

2.Look and answer

T：Where are they？

Ss：They are in the kitchen.

T：What are they doing？

Ss：They are cooking.

T：Yes.Theyre preparing dinner in the kitchen.Look at another picture.Where are they？

Ss：Theyre in the dining room.

T：Yes.Theyre having dinner in the dining room.

设计意图：教师充分利用课本图片资源进行阅读策略的指导，让学生通过读图来理解课文的内容。通过让学生读图，帮助学生理清课文结构，让学生理解文中场景的转化，为下面课文的细节处理打下基础。

3.Read and underline
