交际教学法在初中英语听说教学中的应用设计
——以人教版七年级下册第七单元Section A 1a-1c 为例

The main task of English teaching is to cultivate and improve students' communicative ability in using English. Through the communication link in the teaching process, students can understand and master English, so that students can master the language of English. The communicative approach gradually become one of the main methods that affect English teaching.

一、Teaching design of pre-listening of 1a-1c Section A Unit7 Grade7 Go for it!

Activity 1 Look and Say

According to the characteristic of teaching process communicative, questions and answer between students and teacher from the picture .The students can learn the new word ,such as“rainy”, “raining”,“sunny”,“windy”,“cloudy”,“snowing”,“snowy”and sentences structure “what’s the weather like?”and“how’s the weather? ”

Activity 2 Flashcard game

According to the characteristic of allow students make false. In the process of flash card game, students are allowed to make mistake so teacher can correct them after the game, which students base the game can master the news words, such as“rainy”,“raining”,“sunny”,“windy”,“cloudy”,“snowing”, and“snowy”.

Activity 3 Match the words with the picture a-e

Exercise 1a can help students to consolidate the new words ,like“rainy”,“raining”,“sunny”,“windy”,“cloudy”,“snowing”,“snowy”and sentences structure,like“what’s the weather like?”,“How’s the weather?”

Activity 4 Match

According to the different cities, such as Beijing, Boston, shanghai, Toronto and Moscow, students can learn the new words, like “Toronto”,”Moscow”and“Boston”.

二、Teaching design of while-listening of 1a-1c Section A Unit7 Grade7 Go for it!

Activity 5 listen to tape and finish the exercise 1b

Apply mother tongue to let students better understand and master grammar knowledge, such as “right now”,”as usual”, and sentence patterns “ How's the weather”. and improve their listening ability .

Activity 6 Role-play

According to the characteristic of teaching process communicative, role play between students and students from the conversation .The students can learn the new word ,such as “rainy”, “raining”,“sunny”,“windy”, “cloudy”,“snowing”, “snowy”and sentences structure “what’s the weather like?”and “how’s the weather? ”which achieve the knowledge objective.

三、Teaching design of Post-listening of 1a-1c Section A Unit7 Grade7 Go for it!

Activity 7 Make sentences

According to the characteristic of teaching process communicative, activity between students and students from the picture. Students can consolidate the new words, such as“rainy”,“raining”,”sunny”,“windy”,“cloudy”,“snowing”,“snowy” and sentence structure,“what's the weather like?” “how's the weather..?”which achieved the knowledge objective and emotion objective.

Activity 8 Dramatic performance

According to the characteristic of teaching process communicative. Through the way of scenario play,students can not only have a better command of new words ,like “rainy”,“raining”, “sunny”, “windy”,“cloudy”,“snowing”,“snowy”and sentence patterns“What’s the weather like? ”“How’s the weather?”, but also improve their listening and speaking abilities.Homework

1.Review the words

2.Watch today's weather forecast and make five sentences using the sentences structure.

With the development of the times and the implementation of teaching reforms, foreign language teaching pays more and more attention to students' ability to communicate in English. In the teaching process, teachers should create more language environments to give students more opportunities to apply English. Let students communicate more in English to communicate and express, which is very effective for them to learn English, so teachers apply communicative approach to teach is very conducive to students learning English.
