[Abstract] Objective To investigate the clinical effect of fluid floating bed treatment after pressure injury flap transfer. Methods A total of 40 patients with sacrococcygeal pressure injuries who received skin flap transfer in department of plastic and aesthetic surgery and department of burn of our hospital from January 2016 to December 2019 were selected and divided into the study group and the control group according to the order of patient admission. The control group and the study group were treated with traditional air cushion bed and fluid floating bed respectively. The number of postoperative turns, dressing changes, wound healing time, postoperative length of hospital stay, hospitalization expenses, postoperative complications and recurrence in the two groups were observed. Results Compared with the control group, the number of postoperative turns and dressing changes in the study group were lower (P<0.05), the wound healing time and postoperative hospitalization time were significantly lower(P<0.05), and there was no significant difference in hospitalization expenses between the two groups(P>0.05). The total incidence of postoperative complications in the study group was 5.00% significantly lower than that of(35.00%) in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in postoperative recurrence rate between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The fluid floating bed treatment after flap transfer for pressure sores can accelerate wound healing, reduce postoperative local complications of the skin flap, and will not increase the total cost of treatment, which is an effective method of auxiliary treatment after skin flap transfer for pressure sores.
