一、教材分析

本课时是牛津版9A Unit 6 TV programmes Reading 的第一课时“电视节目”,本单元围绕“TV programems”这个题材开展多种教学活动,它与前几个单元有着一定的联系,是从青少年的另一个方面来拓展话题的。

二、教学流程图

目标定向 —— 出示课堂目标

个体学习 —— 明确学习方法,自主学习,阅读归纳

同伴互导 —— 组内交流讨论

教师解难 —— 解释疑难问题

练习检测 —— 针对性练习

补充学习 —— 布置作业和预习内容

三、教学目标

1.知识与技能目标:

①掌握单词:up-to date, cover ,live ,coming, Asian, text, message,

Concert, direct, director ,face ,disappear ,act ,latest ,prize, Ice skating:

①提高根据所阅读文章判断正误的能力。

②鼓励学生拥有适度的、合理的业余爱好。

四、教学重点和难点

1.教学重点:进一步认识和掌握与电视有关的词汇和词组。

2.教学难点:把学生的偏好和时间安排与电视节目匹配起来。

五、 教学方法

通过任务型阅读教学法,由浅入深、由易到难,由一直到未知,循序渐进地深化教学内容。展开以教师为主导、以学生为主体的师生双边活动。

六、 教学过程

Step 1 Free talk

Have a free talk with the students. Revise something learned

T: How many hours of TV do you watch every day?

What is your favorite TV programmes?

What is your favorite host?

S: ……

Step2 Presentation

1. Ask students whether they plan their TV viewing or if they just switch the TV on when they find information about which programmes are on and what the programmes are about.

2. Explain the context of the reading passage.

T: Millie is looking on the internet to learn more about some TV programmes.

3. Play the tape and students read after it.

Ask students if they have ever watched such programmes.

4. Teacher puts forward some questions for students to answer to check their understanding.

5. Ask Ss some questions to check their understanding

Step3 Practice

1. Ask students to put forward their own questions and discuss in class.

2. Encourage students to think them over

3. Ask Ss to find out the language points they dont know and try to explain them

4. Ask some of them to read the paragraphs and summarize the main ideas.

5. Sum up:

To identify statements as true or false based on the reading passage.

Step 4 Exercises &Homework

Use PPT to show some exercises.

七、教學反思

本课以素质教育为目的,结合教材重、难点及英语学科特点,利用多媒体辅助教学,从视、听、说等方面让学生得到锻炼,在愉快、轻松的氛围中温故而知新,达到初步运用英语交际的能力。由于缺少经验,在教学过程程难免会出现不足,请各位老师不吝赐教。
