在读后续写中,结尾发挥着非常重要的作用,精彩的结尾好似画龙点睛,让人回味无穷。常见的结尾方式有景物描写结尾、哲理性语言结尾、自然结尾等。

除基本的揭示故事结尾外,在表现手法上,结尾还应与前文伏笔照应,使人觉得在情理之中;与前文形成对比,点明主旨,深化主题。在塑造人物形象上,结尾应表现人的心理、性格、品质、经历、命运、能力等。在故事情节上,结尾还可以照应标题和开头,使故事结构完整。

下面以2020年新高考全国卷I(山东卷)为例,介绍几种简单易学的结尾方式,希望对同学们有所借鉴。

【2020年新高考全国卷I(山东)】

阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。

The Meredith family lived in a small community. As the economy was in decline, some people in the town had lost their jobs. Many of their families were struggling to make ends meet. People were trying to help each other meet the challenges.

Mrs. Meredith was a most kind and thoughtful woman. She spent a great deal of time visiting the poor. She knew they had problems, and they needed all kinds of help. When she had time, she would bring food and medicine to them.

One morning she told her children about a family she had visited the day before. There was a man sick in bed, his wife, who took care of him and could not go out to work, and their little boy. The little boy -his name was Bernard-had interested her very much.

“I wish you could see him,” she said to her own children, John, Harry, and Clara. “He is such a help to his mother. He wants very much to earn some money, but I dont see what he can do.”

The other children also jumped up all attention. When John had an idea, it was sure to be a good one. “I tell you what we can do,” said John. “You know that big box of corn Uncle John sent us? 二、以景结情式结尾

好的文章首先要给读者以美的享受和熏陶。在文章发展的过程中,戛然而止,转为写景,以景代情,结束文章,使文章有“此处无情胜有情”的效果。

在寫景结尾时,同学们要选择具有美感的景物,在情景交融中回味文意,体会文章主旨。景物应简洁疏朗,结尾写景抓住一两个意象即可,景物过多显得杂乱,冲淡了景物描写的作用,难以表现景物中蕴含的情感,忌简单罗列。

三、自然式结尾

自然结尾很容易,事情记叙完了,结果也来了,文章也就结束了,这就是自然式结尾。自然式结尾在把内容表达完了之后,自然而然地收束全文,而不去设计蕴意深刻的哲理语句。

这样的结尾显得单纯明快、朴素无华。但讲究“自然”并不意味马虎草率,而是顺着文章发展的自然趋势结束全局。有的时候虽然自然式结尾平淡无奇,但回味无穷,给读者留有思考的空间。自然式结尾简单、自然,使文章的结构显得十分完整。作为读后续写的文章,常常不一定含有某种深刻的道理,这时只要将故事补充完整就足够了。

对话式结尾指文章以对话结束,此对话的功能包括:紧扣主线、意味深长、反映人物心理、揭示谜底、首尾呼应等。对话式结尾有时伴有相应的动作收尾,因为说完话总会有肢体动作伴随。对话式结尾有时意味深长,值得回味,留有空白给读者思考与感悟。使用这种结尾的前提是文章立意佳,否则就会弄巧成拙。还是以2020年新高考全国卷I(山东卷)的读后续写为例。
