Abstract：In order to screen out high quality potato cultivars suitable for upland planting in Tianshui city and improve yield and quality，longshu 6 was used as the control， and the plant characteristics， disease resistance and high yield of 10 cultivars （lines） were compared in Zhongliang Experimental Station of Tianshui Agricultural Research Institute for 2 years. The results showed that the yield of Qingshu 10， Dingshu 3， and Datong Liwaihuang was 35 585， 28 080 and 27 846 kg/hm2， which were 66.56%， 31.43% and 30.33% higher than that of Longshu 6， and the percentage of commercial tups was 76.63%， 70.78% and 78.89%， respectively. These threes cultivars （lines） have strong field growth during the growth period， with excellent comprehensive traits such as number of tubers per plant， tuber weight per plant， disease resistance， and good adaptability， which can be popularized in Tianshui area.
