医学生英语写作焦虑现状调查及其教学启示

摘  要：焦虑作为情感因素中影响语言发展的主要因素之一，严重制约了我国大学生英语写作能力的提高。通过采用《二语写作焦虑量表》问卷对649名医学专业学生的英语写作焦虑现状进行调查发现医学生英语写作焦虑主要包括身体焦虑、行为焦虑、评价焦虑和自信焦虑;医学生的英语写作焦虑程度总体处于中等水平，而行为焦虑和自信焦虑程度趋向高等程度;女生体验到的英语写作总体焦虑程度高于男生，且评价焦虑和自信焦虑程度显著高于男生，但女生使用回避策略的频次低于男生;英语学习时长显著影响医学生写作焦虑，英语写作练习量不足导致学生写作焦虑程度升高并阻碍医学生写作自信心和能力的提高。针对研究结果提出了改进医学生英语写作教学的相关建议。

Abstract： As one of the most important affective factors affecting the language development， anxiety seriously inhibits the improvement of Chinese college students' English writing ability. The questionnaire of Second Language Writing Anxiety Inventory（SLWAI） was adopted to perform an empirical study on the English writing anxiety of 649 medical students. According to the results， medical students' English writing anxiety consists of somatic anxiety， behavior anxiety， evaluation anxiety and confidence anxiety; medical students experience moderate degree of English writing anxiety on the whole while behavior anxiety and confidence anxiety tends to be higher; the female students experience higher degree of English writing anxiety on the whole than the male students， and their degrees of evaluation anxiety and confidence anxiety are significantly higher than those of the male students; the English study time has significant effect on medical students' English writing anxiety and the insufficiency of English writing practice results in the high degree of English writing anxiety and hinder the improvement of medical students' writing self-confidence and ability. Finally， some targeted suggestions are put forward to improve the teaching of medical students' English writing.

英語写作能力是我国医学生专业发展中必备一项基本技能，也是在大学基础英语学习阶段经常被忽视且能力较弱的一项技能。究其原因，大学英语写作是一个非常复杂的心理认知过程，受多种因素影响。20世纪70年代以来，随着人本主义心理学的兴起和发展，外语教学转变为以学生为中心，学生的情感因素在大学英语教学的影响越来越受重视。焦虑作为情感因素中影响语言发展的主要因素之一，逐渐成为二语写作研究的重要内容，因此，调查焦虑在英语学习者中的状况、分析其原因并提出相应的缓解措施成为英语写作焦虑的研究热点。……
