摘要:英语课程教学中,需要选择一些能够引起学生学习兴趣和学生关注的内容,并将文化融入其中,让学生通过英语学习,了解西方文化,同时加强对我国文化的理解。而What's the highest mountain in the world?这个单元通过问句做标题,引导学生思考课程内容。比直接用珠穆朗玛峰用标题更加直接,在课堂教学中,教师可以借助学生的好奇心,不断的拓展教学,让学生理解“最……”这个表达方式。进而通过课程拓展,帮助学生稳固基础知识。

“one of+ the+形容词的最高级+复数名词”,意为“……之一”。如:

Miss Wang is one of the most popular teachers in our school.

王老师是我们学校最受欢迎的老师之一 。

2. Even more serious difficulties include freezing weather conditions and heavy storms.

更加严峻的困难包括极冷的天气状况和巨大的风暴。

(1) difficulty既可作可数名词也可作不可数名词,在此用作可数名词。作可数名词时,difficulty

通常用作复数,表示具体概念,即:各种各样的“困难;难题;难事”。

例如: People learning a new language may face some difficulties.

人们学习一门新的语言时可能会遇到一些困难。

If you have any difficulties, you can call me for help.

如果你遇到任何困难,给我打电话求助好了。

作不可数名词时,difficulty 可译作“困难;艰难;辛苦; 费劲”,

(2) include 表示“包括;包含”,是一个及物动词。

3. It is also very hard to take in air as you get near the top.

It is+ adj. + to do sth.,it 作形式主语放在句首,而把真正的主语放在句尾。常用于此句型的形容词有important,difficult,dangerous,necessary,useful,possible等,用来对to do

sth.进行说明。此句型可以转换成To do sth. is + adj.
